The open-plan living and kitchen space features a striking juxtaposition of dark and vibrant elements. The kitchen is rendered in seamless, matte black cabinetry and countertops, creating a monolithic, minimalist aesthetic. This dark core is powerfully contrasted by a sumptuous, oversized velvet sofa in a rich, deep burgundy or rust red.

Lighting is a critical element, used architecturally to define space and mood. Recessed ceiling lights provide general illumination, while perimeter cove lighting adds a soft, diffused glow that highlights the ceiling architecture. Black wall sconces cast dramatic up/down light, creating pools of warmth and enhancing the texture of the walls. Pendant lighting over the bar area introduces verticality and a subtle industrial-chic detail.

The indoor pool/spa area is a highlight of architectural drama and materiality. The space is a modern grotto, defined by horizontal wood-look wall paneling paired with textured beige stone on the floor and pool surround. The ceiling is a spectacular, hammered, reflective metallic surface (possibly stainless steel or aluminum) that dramatically disperses light. The focal point is a large, ethereal illuminated circular ring on the wall, reflected perfectly in the dark blue water, giving the space a futuristic, serene, and almost cosmic quality.

The bathroom demonstrates meticulous attention to detail with high-end, distinctive finishes. A dramatic, dark-veined marble countertop is paired with a rectangular vessel sink and faucet in a striking brushed copper or rose-gold tone, injecting a warm, metallic luxury that contrasts beautifully with the cold marble.
